Making of: Fonts
Früher glaubte ich, hinter der Tür
mit der Aufschrift "F O N T" versteckt sich das grosse,
böse Unbekannte.
Nein, nicht deren Anwendung - die Erstellung! Hätte ich geahnt,
dass es so simpel ist, hätte ich wohl schon früher damit
angefangen.
Verwendet habe ich dafür FontForge,
ein Freewareprogramm, das sich schon durch den Namen für klingonische
oder besser kriegerische Fonts besonders eignet!
Mein erstes Projekt war nun, die Fonts, des
Klingon
Language Instituts (KLI) für meine Klingonenseite umzusetzen.
Es gibt die Fonts beim KLI zwar zum Bestellen, aber erstens kosten
die Geld und dann muss man das Geld dort erstmal hinbekommen, etc,.
etc., etc.
Das Orginal des KLI sieht so aus:

In den eckigen Klammern steht jeweils die [benötigte
Taste] um das Zeichen aufzurufen.
Den Font (pIqaD) gibt es hier zum Download
(5kB, zip-File).
Da der Font dem Fandom dienen soll, ist er kostenlos. Die Lizenzbedingungen*
sind aber einzuhalten!!!
Ist er installiert, sollte auch die folgende
Tabelle richtig dargestellt werden. Er erscheint dann als KlingoFont
in der Schriftenleiste. Wenn nicht, dann nicht. ;)
